About me
Playing the piano has always been my passion. I studied classical piano and violin at The Royal College of Music in London.
​
I am an experienced music teacher, performer, and composer. I have worked as a piano teacher and in schools and music schools for over 20 years. I also worked as Head of Music at an international school in Singapore. I successfully completed the Piano Teacher’s Course at The Purcell School of Music in London with EPTA UK. Recently I was awarded The Postgraduate Certificate in Performance Teaching (with Merit) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

My Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is that each student is unique. My role is to deliver lessons which inspire the student, so that they can reach their full potential. Warmth, collaboration with the student and versatility are at the heart of my lessons. I feel privileged to be able to share my life long passion with an international audience.
Many of my students have gained Distinctions in Trinity, ABRSM and Rockschool exams, and have enjoyed performing in locals concerts and/ or ensembles or bands. Some students have come to me so that I can help them with GCSE or A-Level Music.

A few students have also chosen to compose or just focus on music theory.
Currently lessons are offered up to Grade 8. Should you wish to follow an alternative exam board please get in touch. There is no obligation to study for exams if you do not wish to do so. Follow your passion!
